*These designated sessions combined will provide a total of 3 CME credits for attendees. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Attendees are responsible for all other meals.
For this is advanced, fast-paced course, participants are required to bring a laptop to participate in hands-on activities. The AASM will provide a complimentary webcam and headset to each participant. Upon completion of registration, participants will be notified of assigned tasks to be completed prior to attending the course. Assigned tasks are required to be completed to ensure success for all participants.

All attendees must pre-register; on-site registration will not be accepted. The AASM will not be held liable if an individual purchases an airline ticket before receiving confirmation of registration for this course.
Meals provided by the AASM are available for registered attendees only; guests of attendees will not be permitted to participate in meal functions. Any specific dietary needs must be made at the time of registration. Every effort will be made to accommodate attendees, but the AASM cannot guarantee all requests can be met. AASM staff will follow up to discuss options and instructions.
Photographing and/or recording, of any kind, of sessions and speakers at the course is strictly prohibited.
Electronic Course Materials/Laptop Usage
The AASM will provide course materials only in electronic format. Attendees are asked to bring a laptop for this course. There will be a $100 rental fee charged onsite to participants who fail to bring a laptop. The AASM will provide power for laptop usage.
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Expanding Your Sleep Practice through Telemedicine course has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Their Elements of the ACCME by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
The AMA Council on Medical Education mandates that accredited providers only offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to physicians. The AASM will issue non-physicians a letter of attendance for activities designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine designates the Expanding Your Sleep Practice through Telemedicine course as a live activity for a maximum of 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
To cancel a registration, written notification must be submitted to the AASM meeting department. A $50.00 administrative fee will be withheld on cancellations postmarked prior to the cancellation deadline. After the cancellation deadline, no refunds will be available. Refunds are not provided to no-shows. The AASM reserves the right to cancel course and provide full refunds should conditions warrant. The refunds will only include the cost of registration for the courses. The cancellation deadline is three weeks prior to each course.
Weather Cancellation Policy
In the event that a registrant is unable to attend a course due to severe weather forcing airline cancellations or airport closures, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine will apply 50 percent of the individual’s registration fees toward another AASM course (excluding the SLEEP meeting) held within 12 months. Registrants will need to provide documentation from the airport or airline confirming the inability to travel due to severe weather within 30 days following the course. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine will not apply this policy to the SLEEP meeting, as their length and nature would allow for registrants to attend a portion of the event regardless of severe weather.
